Alcadesa Meléndez: Caracas will have 37 points for enlistment in the Bolivarian Militia

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, announced that for the national day of military enlistment, in the Venezuelan capital on August 29 and 30, 37 points will be available in the 22 parishes of the Libertador municipality.
Recognizing the Constitutional responsibility for the defense of our territory, we are enlisting, preparing and here for national unity and that is why we are here today our head of government of Caracas accompanying our people
“After that success last weekend when our President, Nicolas Maduro decided that this call should continue and our defense minister today told us that more than 1,000 points will be activated throughout Venezuela and here in our territory we will have 37 points in the 22 parishes of Caracas,” Meléndez reported at a press conference,
He stressed that in each parish all the communes, the communal circuits, the heads of the community, the social movements that live in each of these territories and that converge in the same area will descend in micromachas micromarches to Plaza Bolívar where the enlistment points will be located.
“We are also going to be in the Mountain Barracks in the Militia Command of January 23 and we are also going to be the command of the National Guard in Plaza Madariaga,” said the capital's president.
