The president of the International Center for Productive Investment of Venezuela (CIIP), Alex Saab, assured that unilateral coercive measures by the United States do not stop Venezuela's growth.
“We became experts at working under pressure and we offer investors the guarantee of security and stability. Venezuela doesn't cry, Venezuela bills,” he emphasized during a telephone contact with the Venezuela News radio program.
The re-imposition of measures against the country is “blackmail, it doesn't keep us away from growth, on the contrary, investors arrive, interest in the country continues,” he said.
Saab explained that “investment opportunities in Venezuela are endless, growth will continue with or without sanctions.”
As an example, he stated that, since his appointment as representative of the CIIP at the beginning of the year, at least 400 investors have been served, “many operations have been carried out in all areas to increase revenues to the country.”
He also indicated that this year there are good prospects in the economic area, inflation has been controlled “this year points to significant economic growth. Investment is constantly coming to the country.”
He recalled that Venezuela has the first oil reserves in the world, the fourth gas reserves in the world, one of the first reserves of equal gold and human quality.
