This Sunday, a total of 1,174 voting centers were authorized by the National Electoral Council so that Venezuelans who wish can participate in the simulated voting for the presidential elections on July 28.
This activity, which is part of the schedule developed by the country's highest electoral body, provides an opportunity for new voters to familiarize themselves with the automated voting system that is at the forefront of the world.
It is also a space for political parties to test their mechanisms for mobilizing their militancy with a view to elections.
Although no results are offered because it is a test activity, the democratic vocation of the Venezuelan people has been expressed in a significant participation in previous simulations, so this time it is estimated that this trend will continue.
Who can participate?
Venezuelans who wish to participate have as their only requirement their laminated identity card (current or expired), and to be registered in the Permanent Electoral Register (REP).
Where can they participate?
Venezuelans can go to any of the 1,174 centers authorized nationwide regardless of where they are registered to vote.
