Ambassador Gladys Gutiérrez presented Credentials to the King of Spain

The ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Gladys Gutiérrez Alvarado, presented this Thursday, May 16, the Credential Letters to the King of Spain, Felipe VI, at the Royal Palace in Madrid.
The information was provided by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, through his account on the social network X, in which he noted that “on behalf of President @ NicolasMaduro, our ambassador Gladys Gutiérrez has presented Credentials to the Kingdom of Spain, as part of efforts to promote Bolivarian peace diplomacy and re-establish relations based on mutual respect”.
The Foreign Ministry of the Republic, in a press release, indicated that with this protocol act, Gutiérrez is accredited as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Venezuela to Spain, being the second time she has held the highest diplomatic representation of Venezuela in the European country, a position she held between 2002 and 2005, under the appointment of then-President Hugo Chávez Frías.
After delivering the Credentials, Gutiérrez was received in audience by King Felipe VI, to whom he transmitted the greetings of President Nicolás Maduro and expressed the will of the Venezuelan authorities to continue strengthening bilateral relations.
Gutiérrez Alvarado will have among the main objectives during his administration, in addition to consolidating diplomatic ties, strengthening institutional ties, promoting commercial exchange, helping to optimize consular services and promoting cultural diplomacy, in the full exercise of Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace.
