Ambassadors of Venezuela and Brazil to the Republic of Congo highlight South-South cooperation

The designated ambassador of Venezuela to the Republic of Congo, Laura Suárez, held an important meeting with her Brazilian counterpart, Renato Soares Menezes, where diplomats emphasized the importance of good relations between the two countries, while stating that the Latin American union is fundamental for South-South Cooperation and the consolidation of a multicentric and multipolar world.

In addition, both officials discussed the development of the election day of July 28 and the re-election of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, for a third term, information that was released by the Foreign Ministry on the social network Instagram.

At the meeting, Ambassador Suárez highlighted the resilient and courageous character of the Venezuelan people, who defend themselves against all attacks from various countries, which managed to keep the nation at peace. He also emphasized the independence, as well as the autonomy of the powers of the Venezuelan State, when referring to the ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice on the contentious electoral appeal filed by the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, in which he certifies the results of the elections of last July 28.

Finally, the diplomat stressed that the Venezuelan electoral system is one of the best in the world, because it has an auditing system that allows the validation of the sovereign act of voting.
