American activist was killed by an Israeli gunshot in the West Bank

The 26-year-old activist, identified as Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, was shot in the head with live ammunition while participating in the weekly protest against the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements in the north of the occupied West Bank.

Hispantv reported that the activist was rushed to the Rafidia hospital in Nablus, a city in the West Bank, and that she was admitted to the intensive care unit.

Despite the efforts of medical teams to save her, she died due to her serious injuries.

The confrontation broke out when Israeli forces violently suppressed the protest, firing live ammunition, stun grenades and tear gas at the demonstrators. In the same incident, an 18-year-old Palestinian was injured by shrapnel in the thigh.
