AN advances preparations for the International Parliamentary Forum against Fascism

Deputies are making progress in planning this important space for debate against fascism

Deputies of the National Assembly (AN) began preparations for the International Parliamentary Forum against Fascism, which will be held in Caracas next November, said the first vice-president of the Legislative Branch, Pedro Infante.

This space, as reported by the parliament in a press release, will be aimed at defending the interests of the Homeland, peace, sovereignty, independence and the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

In this regard, Infante announced that the parliamentary diplomatic offensive is inspired by article 130 of the Constitution of the Bolivian Republic of Venezuela, and accordingly, it was agreed to start a series of conferences with the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.

Likewise, according to the above-mentioned bulletin, the presidents and vice-presidents of the parliamentary friendship groups and the vice-minister for Latin America, Rander Peña, agreed to hold a meeting with the executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance of the Peoples of Our America (ALBA), Jorge Arreaza; and the representatives of the 70 friendship groups formed so far.

Infante also added that parliamentarians from the democratic opposition would also be participating, with a view to specifying and defining the most diverse plans of action.
