The National Assembly (AN) approved the Bill for the Creation of the Victory Bicentennial Order of Ayacucho Award, in its second discussion.

The law is inspired by the Battle of Ayacucho, which sealed the independence of Peru and South America, and is framed in the current context of external aggressions.

This award, in its only kind, is intended to honor those citizens committed to defending the interests of the Homeland and the Bolivarian Revolution.

The award highlights the integrity and patriotism of those who fight for self-determination and non-interference in internal affairs. The bill is structured in 4 chapters and 21 articles.
