AN approves Agreement to Support the Defense of Guiana Esequiba

This Tuesday, in regular session, the deputies to the National Assembly unanimously approved an Agreement to Support the Defense of Guiana Essequiba.

Jorge Rodríguez, president of the Venezuelan parliament, took the floor after listening to the deputies who spoke out in favor of this agreement.

“I would like to request that a paragraph be incorporated about the actions of the Congress of the Republic of Venezuela before 1999 and the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela after 1999 in defense of Guiana Essequiba,” he said.

He added that he also requests “a paragraph where we exalt the unity of this parliament in defense of what is ours and the integrity of the territory, the country, the Republic and the State that we will bequeath to our children”
