AN authorized appointments of ambassadors to the Republics of Senegal, Tunisia and Benin

The National Assembly (AN) authorized this Tuesday, April 23, the appointments of the Venezuelan ambassadors to the Republics of Senegal, Tunisia and Benin.
During the regular session, which took place at the Federal Legislative Palace, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, the appointment of Regzeida Elena González Herrera, as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Republic of Senegal, concurrent to the Republic of Cape Verde and the Republic of Gambia, was approved.
The respective report of the Permanent Committee on Foreign Policy, Sovereignty and Integration, authorizing the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, for this appointment, was presented by Deputy Roy Daza.
The approval was also given to the appointment of Jesús Alberto García, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Venezuela to the Republic of Benin, concurrent with the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, Republic of Ghana, Togolese Republic and Ambassador Permanent Representative to the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO). Deputy Gilberto Giménez was in charge of presenting the report.
The third appointment was that of Reinaldo José Bolívar, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Venezuela to the Republic of Tunisia, concurrent with the State of Libya. In this case, the report was presented by Deputy Edgardo Ramírez.
The parliamentarians responsible for presenting the above-mentioned reports announced their academic preparation and previous responsibilities in the diplomatic field, which support the above-mentioned appointments.
