Andreína Tarazón assumes leadership of the Marca País Institute

Lawyer and politician Andreína Tarazón Bolívar assumed the leadership of the Instituto Marca País, in addition to the Vice Ministry of International Trade Policy, as part of a strategy to insert Venezuela into global markets. The appointment was made official in Presidential Decree No. 5,245, published in Extraordinary Official Gazette No. 6,984.
This duality of functions is aimed at centralizing the national identity strategy with the operation of commercial policy and allowing the Country Brand to be the main axis in every international agreement and agreement that is signed.
With the competencies inherent to both positions, Tarazón Bolívar will lead the coordination of trade missions and the promotion of the country's potential.
Likewise, its management will be vital for Venezuelan products to reach new horizons, backed by a tariff and exchange policy that favors domestic production and foreign exchange.
Tarazón Bolívar is a lawyer, graduated from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), and is a prominent leader of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV). She previously held the positions of Minister for Women and Gender Equality, Superintendent of Fair Prices and President of the Great Hogares de la Patria Mission.
Tarazón has a diploma in Strategic Planning, a specialization in Economics and Business of China (University of Alcalá) and a master's degree in International Economic Cooperation (Beijing).
In her political work as a member of the PSUV, she has stood out as a youth delegate of the Ideology and Politics Commission, a member of the Presidential Commission for Popular Student Power and a candidate for the National Assembly (AN).
In the same way, her activism has focused on the defense of women's rights, the eradication of domestic violence, social assistance and community organization.
