President (E) Rodríguez visits refinery in India to strengthen energy cooperation

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, made a technical visit to the facilities of the Jamnagar refinery, in India, to evaluate first-hand the operational and management processes that position this complex as a world reference in the industry.
“We visited the Jamnagar Refinery, the largest oil refining complex in the world and a commercial destination for Venezuelan crude oil; with a strategic infrastructure that reflects India's high technological and industrial development. Both countries are making progress in energy complementarity,” said the president on her Telegram channel.
In this regard, Rodríguez emphasizes the importance of strengthening strategic alliances to optimize the hydrocarbon value chain and enhance crude oil processing capacity through international standards.
During the meeting, Venezuelan authorities and representatives of the industrial complex discussed the implementation of projects aimed at technology transfer and the modernization of infrastructures. The dialogues focused on the need to integrate innovative solutions to streamline production and improve operational efficiency, ensuring an exchange that results in tangible technical benefits for the development of the national oil industry in the short and medium term.
The delegation reaffirmed the commitment of the national Government to the consolidation of new markets that ensure stability and economic growth in the country. The formalization of this energy cooperation route represents a significant step in the policy of alliances with emerging powers, making it possible to lay the foundations for a robust commercial relationship that effectively contributes to the sovereignty and integral well-being of the nation.
