Anzoátegui and Apure firefighters deployed in La Guaira

Officials from the Fire Department of the Anzoátegui and Apure states are deployed in search, rescue and rescue tasks in the Tahiti sector, La Aurora building, La Guaira state, after the recent earthquake that occurred last June 24.

This was reported by the Ministry of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace; and added that in the face of this highly complex situation, operational teams have activated technical intervention protocols to ensure the stability of the impact zone and the safety of personnel.

Field work includes a thorough technical sweep of the collapse polygonal, accompanied by the start of controlled debris removal maneuvers. “These actions have as a priority objective the location, location and safe extraction of people under the rubble.”
