Anzoátegui FC became the first place finisher in the round of 16 of the 2024 Venezuela Cup

This Thursday, after the 9 matches corresponding to the fourth day of the group stage of the Venezuela Cup 2024, the Anzoátegui FC team became the first place in the round of 16.

In Zoátegui FC they defeated Nueva Esparta FC 4-1 at Club Barcelona Sport. The winning goals were scored by Leonardo Ortiz at minute 52′, Klinsmann Yendis at 64′, Edwin Gallego at 69′ and Ysrael Leo at 74′. Javier Conrado made the discount at 80′.

At the El Caney Stadium in Táchira, Real Frontera thrashed Ureña SC 6-1, with goals from Eifer Ramírez at 31′, Marber Suárez at 36′ and at 59′, Joel Sanabria at 45+3′, Daniel Castrillón at 46′ and Johandry Hidalgo at 77′. Gilson Salazar discounted at 65′.

Academia Rey and Zamora FC tied 1-1, at the Farid Richa Stadium in Barquisimeto, with goals from Aitor López at 38′ for the visit and Kevin Sequera at 90+2′ for the locals . While Atlético El Vigía and Estudiantes de Mérida tied 0-0 at the Ramón Hernández Stadium.

For its part,
Yaracuyanos FC defeated Carabobo FC 2-0, with goals from Víctor Viez at 36′ and Edwin Rodríguez at 64′ at the Florentino Oropeza Stadium in San Felipe. With that same result Atlético La Cruz beat Dynamo Puerto, with goals from Manuel Lugo at 45+1′ and Jorge Jiménez at 62′, in Francisco Massiani in Puerto La Cruz.

Meanwhile, Trujillanos FC thrashed 5-0 Falcón Heroes with Luis Annese's targets at 10′ and 17′, Carlos Gil at 15′ and 90+2′ and Ridenson Morillo at 27′, at the José Alberto Pérez de Valera stadium.

At the Hermanos Ghersi Stadium in Maracay, Aragua FC fell 1-2 to Deportivo La Guaira, with goals from Alex Custodio at 13′ and Edder Farías at 32′. Ronald Mcintosh scored at 56′. With that same result , AIFI de Guayana lost to Bolívar SC, the winning goals were scored by Miguel Vidal at 64′ and Romer Rojas at 78′, while Rambel Silva made the discount at 90+3′, in the stadium CTE Cachamay in Puerto Ordaz.

The day culminated with the victory of Caracas FC 2-0 over Deportivo Miranda, at the Olympic Stadium in the capital city. Bianneider Tamayo at 7′ and Edwuin Pernía at 87′ were responsible for scoring the winning goals.
