ANZOÁTEGUI - PUERTO LA CRUZ/Jorge Rodríguez: Together we can build the Homeland that the People deserve

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, stressed that Venezuela needs sterile differences to be left behind, and unity to prevail to build together the Homeland that the People deserve.

“Let's turn the pages of hate, let's turn the page of the sterile fight, let's turn the page of disagreement and let's go together, because we're all necessary,” he said.

In this context, in Puerto La Cruz in the state of Anzoátegui, where he led the Great Pilgrimage for the Lifting of Sanctions and Peace, he said that “let's try that if we agree, it's good to look for what we haven't agreed on (...) let's say that if it doesn't unite”.

“Politically, culturally, in the way of thinking, in pilgrimages, we have found that it is very easy to agree, we have found that there are more things that unite us than things that divide us,” he said.

He also said that the pilgrimage was a spiritual encounter, “to notice that Venezuela is much more than a particular color.”
