This Wednesday, May 27, the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, took a tour of the facilities of the Venezuelan Yucca Industry (INVEYUCA), located in the Simón Rodríguez municipality, in the city of El Tigre, Anzoátegui state.
“I am happy to be in the state of Anzoátegui, we arrived very excited at this pilgrimage phase where we are going to the productive heart of Venezuela and what we have seen in a few hours is very impressive because we know that the state of Anzoátegui is a complete state from an economic point of view,” said the president in charge.
He also highlighted during his visit to this plant, which processes more than 70% of the country's cassava starch, as a model of successful alliance between the public and private sectors. “This eastern entity is rich in oil, gas production, agriculture, livestock and tourism,” he said.
This plant is part of the agri-food engine, contributing to national production, the strengthening of food sovereignty and the promotion of an economic model based on the transformation of local raw materials.
