Aragua: 134 activities for the beautification and restoration of public spaces carried out in Las Tejerias

A total of 134 activities for the beautification and restoration of public spaces have been carried out in Las Tejerias, in the state of Aragua, over the past year.

This was detailed by the mayor of the Santos Michelena municipality, Régulo La Cruz, when he presented to the Comptroller's Office and the Municipal Council and the organizations of the People's Power, the Memory and Account corresponding to his administration during the year 2025.

The achievements achieved in the different areas of public management were presented, highlighting the social axis to which significant resources and efforts were allocated to the areas of health, education, culture and sports. In terms of health, more than three thousand people benefited from Comprehensive Health Days held in 20 communities, in addition to the strengthening of primary health care programs.

In the educational field, La Cruz highlighted the permanent support of educational institutions in the municipality, with actions to improve the infrastructure of the campuses and the strengthening of cultural and sports activities as fundamental tools for the comprehensive formation of boys, girls and young people.

He also highlighted that sports and culture were promoted as policies of inclusion and prevention, managing to reactivate sports spaces, carry out training schools in different disciplines and promote cultural events that enhance Tejeria's identity.

In addition, during that period, 500 agrarian titles were awarded to rural workers, 52 councils of peasants were elected and the planting of more than six thousand ornamental plants was contemplated.
