ARAGUA - MARACAY//President (E) Rodríguez: I ask President Trump and European Governments to cease sanctions

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reiterated her request to the President of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, and to European governments to lift all the sanctions they maintain against the country.

“During these days of pilgrimage, there is a clear message of union, peace and free Venezuela without sanctions (...). Today we pray together for the cessation of sanctions. I don't have to tell anyone, every Venezuelan has been a victim of the blockade and sanctions,” he said.

In his words, from the Maracay Opera Theater (TOM) in the state of Aragua, he insisted on his request, stressing that “not a single sanction remains in force because children, young people and adults in Venezuela suffer from it, it has an uncountable impact.”
