The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, this Wednesday, April 29, confirmed the importance of the signing by the Bolivarian Government of an agreement between the Ministry of Popular Power for Hydrocarbons; Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and the National Hydrocarbons Corporation of Italy (ENI).

“Yesterday (Tuesday 28th), we signed a historic agreement with an Italian European oil company, with ENI. This is going to mark a historic milestone in Venezuelan oil production,” he said.

He added that today a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the British company British Petroleum (BP), for the production of offshore gas, which “returns to Venezuela, we want them to return on the path of cooperation, of the respect that is due to Venezuela, on the path of understanding.”

He stressed that “this benefit is for our people and that they participate in development through the Community Councils, the Communes, and the mayors and mayors.”

“We have to recover the path of development of the agricultural, livestock, poultry, fishing and aquaculture industry and production in Aragua, we have to recover that path for the well-being of our people,” he said.

This was stated at the Teatro de La Ópera in Maracay in the state of Aragua, where he led the Great National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions and in Peace.

He also stressed that it is an honor to vindicate the legacy of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, “to vindicate the Samán de Güere , our deepest roots that give us cultural identity as a people”.

“The People of Aragua know what I am saying, because it is a town with a lot of history, a lot of identity, drums and quite a few 'Devils of Chuao, of Ocumare,” he said.
