The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, during a visit this Wednesday, April 29, to the city of Maracay, in the state of Aragua, as part of the Great National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions and in Peace, urged the People to “let go of the resentment that poisons the soul, when resentment weakens and takes hold of the hearts and the soul, a poisoned human being ends and I want to cure the resentment in Venezuela”.

“I don't want there to be more hatred and intolerance for those who think differently, because even diversity of all kinds is a human right,” he insisted.

He pointed out that “we have reached the extreme that many sectors motivated by hatred and intolerance stepped on political violence as happened in Aragua and that did not lead us to anything good, but rather to January 3rd where the country was bombed by a nuclear power. We decided that the path was to resolve the difference through diplomatic channels and that is what we are paying for.”
