Last Thursday, in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, the people held an extensive National Day of Struggle in repudiation of the brutal adjustment promoted by the administration of the far-right president, Javier Milei.

The conference was organized by the Confederation of Education Workers (CTERA), with the support of state employees grouped into the Central of Workers of Autonomous Argentina and the Central of Workers of Argentina of Workers (CTA-A and CTA-T), Telesur explained.

Members of the Association of State Workers (ATE), were also part of the mobilization, addressed to the Ministry of Economy and brought together state employees, teachers, retirees and representatives of various sectors currently suffering the consequences of economic policies.

The CTA was alerted to the effort to discipline the labor movement through precariousness and dismissals, thus reaffirming its commitment to remain on the streets until the national government takes into account the demands of working people.
