At Simón Bolívar International Airport, in La Guaira, the Deputy Minister for Africa of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yuri Pimentel, together with Ambassador Ernesto Villegas, received 18.6 tons of humanitarian aid from the Junos Se Puede Foundation in Colombia.
During the reception, the Deputy Minister said that after the double earthquake of June 24, “this very important international solidarity operation began, which has been carried out to reinforce the enormous efforts being made by the Government headed by the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, with all its team, to meet the needs of the thousands of victims.”
Finally, he affirmed that “all together we can and will be able to do more and we will continue to make progress in the reconstruction” of the country.
This is the sixth plane with humanitarian aid to arrive in Venezuela in an alliance between the foreign ministries of both nations.
The load contains food and personal hygiene combos; kits for children in four stages, formulas and diapers, and medical supplies, as well as kits for animals in both medicines and food.
