Art Network brought a wristwear workshop to a temporary camp in the parish of 23 de Enero

The Red Art Foundation held a traditional doll making workshop in the temporary camp set up for families in the 23 de Enero parish, in Caracas, as part of the activities of the Route of Hope aimed at people affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the day was led by the artisan Carmen Poleo, who shared with children and teenagers through the making of finger puppets and other recreational activities.

“We are here with so many children and teenagers making them smile and giving them a moment of joy and fun with these finger puppets,” he said.

The Foundation reported that activities will continue on July 18 and 19 in temporary camps located in the parishes of 23 de Enero, San Bernardino and Catia La Mar, with the purpose of offering spaces for recreation and emotional support to families.

He also recalled that the collection centers at the Parque Bolívar Convention Center and the Caracas Storage Center remain enabled to receive donations, in addition to the toll-free psychological care line 0-800- AYUDA-01 (0-800-29832-01) to provide support to the affected population.
