Athlete Nelxalba Mejías arrives at the Aragua Volleyball Club to reinforce the red light equipment

The Aragua Voleibol Club continues to strengthen its squad for the 2026 season and officially announces the addition of the player Nelxalba Mejías, who arrives to bring talent, energy and commitment.

Born in Ciudad Bolívar, Mejías works in the position of central defender and has international experience after his time with the Peruvian club Rabaza Acosta, where he played three seasons. “I am excited, happy and have very high expectations for this league. Grateful to the club for the opportunity. I've been playing volleyball since I was seven years old and this path has given me very good results,” Mejías told the specialized press.

The new addition also highlighted their intention to contribute to the team, “I want to add as much as I can, contribute a lot to the team and also learn from the experience of my teammates. I feel happy, grateful and I think it will be a very positive experience.”
