Attorney General: Fugitive Juan Guaidó has 29 open criminal cases in Venezuela

The Public Ministry has 29 open criminal investigations against the fugitive from justice, Juan Guaidó, announced the Attorney General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab.

In an interview conducted on the program A Pulso broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he explained that the most important are: the fictitious designation of CITGO, PEQUIVEN and Monómers; fictitious designation of ambassadors and managers of business; fictitious designation of board of directors of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV); Theft of assets; diversion of humanitarian aid funds and the use of PDVSA resources to finance itself, causing losses to the nation of 19 billion dollars, which resulted in the almost definitive loss of CITGO.

In addition, he mentioned that he has three active arrest warrants since 2023 for crimes linked to usurpation of functions, the use of distracting money, securities or public goods, money laundering, terrorism, association and treason.
