Authorities in the aquatic and fishing sector coordinate actions with the CONPPA

In order to strengthen the productive economy and optimize services on the national coasts, the Deputy Ministers of Water Transport, David Quintana, and of Fisheries, Pedro Guerrero, together with the president of the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA), CA Javier Quero, held a useful working table with the spokespersons of the Councils of Fishermen, Aquaculturists and Aquaculturists (CONPPA) at the Cuchivano de Carener Pier, located in Higuerote.

This institutional meeting, held following the guidelines of the Minister of Transport (MPPT), Jacqueline Fanía, and under the leadership of the President (E), Delcy Rodríguez, served as a space for debate to hear first-hand the requests and proposals of seafarers.

As a result of this street assembly, an immediate articulation was achieved to streamline the administrative processes of the sector, ratifying the commitment of the National Government to the sustainable development of fishing activity and the modernization of aquatic services throughout the national territory.
