“The team we need in our country is that of all united regardless of political color, regardless of any difference, that we all love Venezuela, that we know how to defend Venezuela under any circumstances and that we are able to continue moving forward.”

This was emphasized by the sectoral vice-presidents of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, during the closing of the Great National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela free of sanctions and in peace, in the city of Barinas, from where he highlighted the importance of unity for the country's success.

“When the pandemic arrived here and Venezuela couldn't buy vaccines in the world because the Central Bank of Venezuela was blocked and we couldn't pay for vaccines to any country, what did the Government do? What did the Revolution do? He looked for the vaccine and brought them and the vaccine was given to all Venezuelans and Venezuelan women and no one was asked what party he was from, if he was of this or that religion, if he was young, if he was old, no, nobody was asked for that, and he got his vaccine and Venezuela at the end of the day was one of the best countries evaluated in dealing with the pandemic in the world, because we came together!” , he recalled.

He also cited the recent World Baseball Classic Championship won by the tricolor national team. “That day none of those boys played for their big league team, in that world championship they all played for the Venezuelan team, this team that is still on the street today and that asks and demands that all sanctions be lifted,” he said.
