The People of Barinas
came out to exercise their right to vote in peace and quiet this Sunday,
July 27, in the municipal elections that are being held across the country to
choose their mayors and councilors.
From the early hours of the morning, the people of Barinas took action to ratify the participatory and leading democracy that has been experienced in Venezuela for 26 years with the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution.

In addition, youth are
also active in participating in the Popular Consultation, which represents the present and future of young people in their communities.
For these
elections, 21 million 524 thousand 126 voters are called throughout the country,
who will elect 2,806 positions, distributed as follows: 335
mayors and 2,471 councilors or councilors, of which 1,420
will be held by list vote, 982 by roll-call vote and 69 councilors representing indigenous peoples.
