Basilica Santa Teresa will receive orchids to decorate the Nazarene by March 30

Until this Monday, March 30, the authorities of the Basilica of Saint Teresa of Caracas will receive flowers and orchids to decorate the image of the Nazarene of Saint Paul this Holy Week season.

The head of the Nazarene, Abraham Núñez, reported that this Sunday they receive the orchids and Holy Monday “in order to fix the image tomorrow night and have them on display for Tuesday,” he said in a radio interview with a private media outlet in the Venezuelan capital.

People who wish to bring and donate flowers can do so on a schedule that goes from 8:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the afternoon, he added.

He announced that after noon on Holy Tuesday, the image of the Nazarene will be transferred to the main altar.

For Holy Wednesday, the basilica will open its doors starting at 12:00 at night, to carry out the 12 scheduled eucharists to be held throughout the day.
