This Tuesday, July 23, the president of
the Simon Bolivar Foundation, Blanca Eekhout, reaffirmed that today the legacy
of the Father of the Fatherland, Simon Bolivar, “is the flag, banner and impulse” of the Bolivarian Revolution.
In this regard, during the
International Forum for Human Humanity-Balance of the Universe, from the Casa
Amarilla Antonio José de Sucre, located in Caracas, he emphasized the importance of this
space, which is to celebrate the birth of Father Bolivar.
“It's like Commander (Hugo)
Chávez said: a permanent birth of Bolivar, but he truly resurrected in
his town and lives every day. This call is the geopolitical vision of
Bolívar, who sought the balance of the universe,” he said.
He also indicated that this call invites everyone
to “think about building balance and seeking peace, about the
need to build a new world, in which we can be free and
equal. That debate will be part of this two-day journey.”
He emphasized that President Nicolás Maduro
today embodies the struggle of the Father of the Fatherland. At the same time, he highlighted the release
of the 252 Venezuelans kidnapped in El Salvador on orders of imperialism.
“An aggression continues against humanity and Venezuela, all of Latin America, but we know that these free peoples are going to defeat that empire and all who come,” he said.
