Board of Directors of the AN decided to form a Special Commission

The board of directors of the National Assembly (AN) approved the formation of a Special Commission composed of the Administration and Service Commission and the Social Development Commission, a decision announced by the President of the Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, during the regular session.

Rodríguez reported that the instance will be chaired by Deputy América Pérez, with Deputy Pedro Carreño as first vice-president and Deputy Alejandra Rodríguez as second vice-president.

The president of the AN called on the parliamentary caucus to keep an eye on the calls that will be made in the coming days.
“Deputies, be on the lookout for calls that we will be making to accompany this national reconstruction effort. Thank you very much to everyone.”

The commission will begin its work immediately, in coordination with the corresponding legislative and administrative bodies.
