This Sunday, the Manuel Delfino Stadium was reinaugurated, an emblematic space for the popular sectors of Alta Vista and San Luis in Guasipati.

The activity was attended by more than 200 athletes, representatives of sports clubs, local authorities and residents of the community, who celebrated the rebirth of this important venue, according to the Roscio mayor's office.

During the opening event, sports equipment and uniforms were delivered to different clubs and athletes, as part of the Bolivarian Government's commitment to strengthening community sports and promoting youth.

The Venezuelan athlete, Yorkys Ruiz, stated that “today we are not only reopening a physical space, but also a place of dreams, discipline and training for our children and young people. I thank the revolutionary government for making this achievement possible, which benefits the entire community.”

Ruiz also congratulated the athletes and volunteers who actively participated in the stadium's rehabilitation work. “They have demonstrated that sport is also built with collective effort, with love for the neighborhood and with commitment to youth,” he added.

The improvements to the Manuel Delfino Stadium include the recovery of stands, green areas, perimeter fencing, lighting, bathrooms and the refurbishment of the playing field. This action is part of a comprehensive plan that seeks to dignify the sports spaces of the Roscio municipality, providing opportunities for the development of local talent.
