The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, ratified this Tuesday the commitment of the Venezuelan People and Government to the fight for an end to unilateral coercive measures and the cessation of the economic blockade against the country.

“I always send a message to the President of the United States (Donald Trump), with whom we maintain relations of respect, and from the relations of respect through the diplomatic and cooperation agenda that we are building between our countries, we tell him to listen to all the people of Venezuela. The people of Venezuela raise one voice and what they say is: 'No more sanctions for Venezuela. End the blockade against Venezuela, '” he said.

From the socialist company Conductors of Aluminum Caroní (CABELUM), Bolívar state, during the beginning of the second phase of the National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions and in Peace, Rodríguez emphasized: “We are not going to rest, President Trump, until Venezuela is free from sanctions that exert undue control over our industries, which unfortunately exert difficulties for the sectors productive, both public and private, can be developed extensively”.

In this regard, he reiterated that Venezuela has the right to do justice and to defend itself. “I call you to national union and that we continue the pilgrimage, hand in hand with God, blessed, continue our Homeland fighting against sanctions and guaranteeing peace and tranquility in Venezuela,” he added.
