The Ministry of Popular Power for Industries and National Production held the second productive chain table for the Construction sector, a space in which lines of action were evaluated to ensure the production and distribution of inputs to the Ministry of People's Power for Habitat and Housing.
The meeting is aimed at articulating and ensuring that the materials used in works with a high social impact, such as the Great Venezuela Housing Mission, come from the Venezuelan industrial park. This strategy is part of the National Import Substitution Plan. Additionally, during the meeting, participants analyzed challenges, opportunities and perspectives of the industrial supply chain.
The Deputy Minister of National Productive Development, Laila Tajeldine, highlighted the progress of the agreements reached at the first chain table. These instruments, already being implemented with the Together Everything Is Possible Corporation, received positive feedback from the Construction sector. Tajeldine announced a third panel that will incorporate the Ministry for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture.
The conference was attended by the Deputy Minister of Industries for Habitat and Housing, Audi Delgado Nava; the Deputy Minister of Housing and Urban Development, María Rosa Derjani; the Vice President of Construpatria, Ángel Reyes; the president of Constructora del Alba Bolivariana, Cris Guilarte, and representatives of the main chambers and associations. The panel brought together more than 45 actors, including companies, input manufacturers and government entities.
