Bolivarian Government activated the Port of Tucacas Captaincy in Falcón

Faria also highlighted the success of the Easter 2026 operation, noting a high influx of citizens across the country

In a joint effort to strengthen maritime infrastructure and national tourism, the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Jacqueline Faria, reported that, in compliance with the instructions of the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, the creation of the Port Authority of Tucacas, in the state of Falcón, took place.

He highlighted that Falcón now has its third Captaincy, to speed up boat registration procedures. “We are complying with what was instructed by the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, to provide solutions to the People,” he stressed.

During the activation ceremony, he highlighted the success of the Easter 2026 operation, noting a high influx of citizens across the country.

In this regard, he stressed that, thanks to the planning and permission granted by the president in charge, the mobilization was strongly activated since last Friday, March 27.

“We are recording the number of seasonal workers, we have already exceeded one million, we are waiting for today's results, which will surely be doubling,” he said.

For his part, the governor of the state of Falcón, Víctor Clark, celebrated the launch of this administrative headquarters, highlighting its impact on security and regional economic growth.

“Today, the Tucacas Port Authority was activated to continue to expedite boat permits and procedures, but also to guarantee order and security in our territorial sea along this important coastline for the country's tourism, fishing and commercial development. Long live Tucacas,” he said.

With this new Captaincy, the Bolivarian Government reaffirms its commitment to the management of the territorial sea and to support fishing and commercial activities.
