Bolivarian Government activates security camera system on Caracas - La Guaira highway

During the ceremony to commemorate the 23rd Anniversary of Civil Protection, this Tuesday, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, delivered the security camera project on the Caracas - La Guaira highway.

The VEN 911 command post has fixed and 360 camera viewing along the highway, to ensure a quick response to any eventuality.

“Highway users can rest assured that right now the National Government has deployed and repaired the 30 cameras, at 30 observation points along the highway and we have in real time what is happening, inside the Caribia City tunnels, the viaduct, the entrance to La Guaira, the entrance to Caracas,” said the Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.

He stressed that this system will make it possible to detect any incident, which is immediately notified so that the required security agencies can be removed.
