The mayor of Caracas, A/J
Carmen Meléndez, supervised this Thursday the work being carried out
to address the damage recorded this Wednesday on Panteón Avenue, in the San José parish of Caracas.
Through his account on the
social network X, Meléndez explained that after
the demolition of a retaining wall, a study of the soil was carried out,
necessary for making decisions about the work to be carried out.
Meléndez also added that this is because “this week there was a land settlement, due to
a possible seep of water.”
Disciplined teams from the Mayor's Office of Caracas, the Hydrological Office of the Capital (HIDROCAPITAL), the Ministry for Electric Energy and the
Ministry for Public Works participate in
the actions to respond to the People .
