The Bolivarian Government is continuing with the execution of the project to build the Rómulo Gallegos Drainage Canal, a strategic infrastructure project located in the Diego Bautista Urbaneja municipality of the Anzoátegui state that seeks to provide a structural and long-term solution to prevent flooding.

The execution of the project, reported on the Venezolana de Televisión website, was carried out by the Ministry of Popular Power for Public Works. Its fundamental objective is to efficiently control the levels of the Rómulo Gallegos lagoon, as well as to mitigate the impact of rainwater during periods of heavy rain, in order to protect the safety of families in the Lechería community.

To date, civil labor fronts report significant progress in the execution of the work, after the emptying of a total of 900 cubic meters of concrete along 670 linear meters of the drainage channel.

By carrying out these tasks, the State ratifies its commitment to the optimization of public services and the protection of citizens, through the continuous deployment of large projects that guarantee social welfare and sustainable urban development in the region.
