Bolivarian Government approved resources for the Communes of Alto Apure

In order to learn about the experience of the communal organization of the Municipal Confederation of Apure, the Territorial Polytechnic University of Alto Apure Pedro Camejo, extension El Nula, received spokespersons and spokespersons from 17 communes to hold a large assembly.

The Minister of Popular Power of the Communes and Social Movements, Ángel Prado, participated in the activity; the governor of the state of Apure, Wilmer Rodríguez and the mayor of the municipality of Páez, José María Romero, the ministerial body reported in a press release published on its website.

The spokesman for the Socialist Commune La Espada de Bolívar, Esamir Pérez, shared the work of the Gasanur Communal Gas company, about which he pointed out that “here we had a big problem with gas, but a commission of 48 spokespersons went to Caracas, where we worked on two issues: gas and fuel, and thank God they gave us an answer (...) from there we activated the Gasanur company made up of five communes, each one He has his truck to transport the gas.”

“After an eight-year effort, they built a Gas Filling Plant in the parish of San Camilo de Urdaneta; and for this new phase, more and more communes have been organized, which intend to pool the resources of the next Popular Consultations to buy a tank that would allow them to carry gas to the most remote and humble communities of Alto Apure,” he explained.

In addition, young people are also key players in these communes and have been a fundamental force in recovering and strengthening the headquarters of the Pedro Camejo Territorial Polytechnic University of Alto Apure (Uptaapc).

In this sense, the leader Ana Sandoval, took the right to speak at the assembly where she offered a brief summary of this student struggle that today allows young people to be trained in knowledge such as Agrifood Engineering, Mechanics, Civil Construction, Computer Science, Veterinary Medicine, Degree in Food Sovereignty and Nutritional Culture, among others.

Sandoval took the opportunity to clarify how important it would be to have an Animal Genetics Laboratory for the improvement of production in this livestock area.

In a telephone contact, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, approved the necessary resources for the creation of the Animal Genetics Laboratory at the UPTAAPC, where those present made a commitment to receive young people from all corners of the country who wish to be trained to raise the productive capacities of their communes.

The head of state urged immediate attention to the situation of the bridge over the El Nulita River, which succumbed on July 5 due to the weight of the trucks and other transports that circulate on it and resources were also approved through the Ministry of Communes for the acquisition of a fleet of machinery that includes payloaders, dumpers, compactors, and other machinery that will be managed by the Communes to address the issue of agricultural roads.

For its part, the government of Apure approved resources for this community axis of the Venezuelan plains, from cement to a shot for gas distribution work, as well as three thousand vaccines against foot-and-mouth disease for small producers, that is, those who have less than 40 animals in their herd.

Minister Prado invited 70 young people to be enrolled in the next training sessions of the La Comuna es Joven program.
