President (E) Delcy Rodríguez: We bring Venezuela's message of peace, friendship and cooperation to India

In order to develop an official strategic agenda to strengthen diplomatic, commercial and bilateral cooperation relations, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, arrived at Palam Airport in New Delhi, capital of the Republic of India.

Rodríguez was received by Aman Puri, who serves as Deputy Secretary and Head of Division for South America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India; the Indian Ambassador to Venezuela, Shri Ashok Babu; Ambassador Capaya Rodríguez.

In this regard, the president specified that she brings to India “the message of peace, friendship and cooperation”, while “we are going to have a very fruitful agenda, where I hope to address areas of cooperation for the benefit of the main needs of the people of Venezuela .”

He also stressed that India is “such a courageous country, both spiritually and as an economic power that plays a very important role in the world”.

The Venezuelan delegation is composed of the Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil; the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Jacqueline Fária; the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Isabel Iturria; and the director of the National Center for Defense and Cyber Security, Gabriela Jiménez.
