The sector vice-president of Public Works and Services, Juan José Ramíre z, reported on the deployment of a first advance consisting of more than 100 infrastructure teams and units of the so-called yellow machinery to the state of La Guaira. This important technical and operational mobilization is carried out with the primary objective of immediately serving the areas affected by the double earthquake recorded on June 24, prioritizing logistical support at the most critical points of the coastal entity.

The heavy equipment sent to the central coast will be used strategically in the intense work of recovering lives within the various structures that succumbed to the force of the earthquake.

The arrival of these highly technically capable implements will accelerate the processes of controlled removal of large slabs and debris in the sectors that suffered the greatest material collapses, where every minute is crucial for rescue operations.

The head of the Public Works and Services office emphasized that this contingent represents a coordinated effort to open essential access roads and ensure the safety of both communities and specialists operating in the field. The presence of yellow machinery is essential in this phase of the contingency, since it optimizes clearance capacities and safely facilitates the entry of rescue and civil protection bodies into collapsed spaces.

With this first wave of logistical assistance, the sectoral authorities reaffirm their commitment to concentrate all the State's technical resources on the protection of affected citizens in the state of La Guaira.

The contingency plan will remain deployed indefinitely, directly supervising the progress of mechanical and hydraulic operations as search and stabilization work is consolidated in disaster areas.
