Bolivarian Government begins installation of a new network of intelligent traffic lights in Valera

This Friday, July 10, the Bolivarian Government launched the plan for the installation of the new intelligent traffic light network that will replace the current equipment at various points in Valera in the state of Trujillo.
In a press release, Mayor Alfredy Moreno said that the work continues, despite the difficult and painful times the country is going through. These new equipment were purchased from companies in China, which now offer the respective training to the human traffic light team that will proceed with the respective replacement of the old traffic light system that dates back more than 30 years.
After the purchase of the equipment, the next step is to advance the technical process of acquiring the materials necessary for its installation, in order to expedite installation and ensure that the new network is 100% operational before the end of the year. 100 traffic lights and 35 pedestrian traffic lights were purchased, in addition to 30 controllers.
