The Bolivarian Government, through the mayor's office of Girardot in Aragua, will carry out the construction of a tourist viewpoint on the road that leads to the coastal town of Choroní.

As part of the start of the holiday of Holy Week 2026, the mayor of the jurisdiction, Rafael Morales, led a technical inspection in the La Cumbre sector of the Maracay-Choroní national highway and from there he announced the execution of a modern infrastructure project that includes a hostel and tourist viewpoint in the area.

“The demolition phase of the old structure, which was in quite risky conditions, has been completed,” he said.

Morales stressed that the objective is to offer high-level spaces for visitors. “We are going to do something very beautiful, something truly that will be extraordinary with this work that will form part of the plan for the beautification and recovery of public spaces in the coastal parish of Choroní,” he explained.
