Bolivarian Government cares for families affected by rains in Guárico

The Bolivarian Government is still deployed in Guárico state, serving more than nine thousand families affected by the recent floods, caused by heavy rains.

In this regard, it became known that families in the La Negra sector, in the Camaguán municipality, benefited from the delivery of food, drinking water and medicines.

The governor of Guárico, Donald Donaire, highlighted the State's constant presence in the area, in order to guarantee close attention and immediate solutions for affected communities, reported the newspaper Úlmas Noticias.

While the Minister of Popular Power for Transport, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, reported that, through navigation on the Portuguesa River, it was detected that the water flow reaches 700,000 liters per second. “To reduce water levels, road cuts have been implemented, a measure that is expected to alleviate the situation soon and provide greater peace of mind to the population.”
