Bolivarian Government coordinates actions for the protection of Morrocoy National Park during Holy Week

The Bolivarian Government held a working group to strengthen protection and control measures in the Morrocoy National Park during the Easter holidays
. The Minister of Tourism, Daniella Cabello; the governor of Falcón, Víctor Clark; and the president of Inparks, Rosa Inés Chávez, led the meeting.
The conference brought together Tourism Service Providers, boat owners, boatmen and community organizations, in order to define monitoring protocols in aquatic operations and compliance with environmental regulations governing the use of marine-coastal space. The authorities reviewed the necessary logistics to ensure responsiveness to the increase in visitors.
These actions are carried out in accordance with the guidelines of President (E) Delcy Rodríguez, aimed at strengthening the management of protected areas under a responsible tourism model. The coordination between institutions and actors in the sector will make it possible to consolidate the device planned for the season.
With this planning, the National Government reaffirms its commitment to the protection of the Morrocoy National Park and the safety of those who visit it, in coordination with the state of Falcón and the bodies linked to the tourist service.
