The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Carlos Mast, reported that the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Public Works and Services, in coordination with the Government of Nueva Esparta, delivered 22 portable water treatment plants to reinforce care for communities affected by the water contingency in the entity.
Mast noted that these units will be progressively activated in communal territories.
“We are ensuring immediate alternatives for access to drinking water while structural work progresses. Portable plants will allow direct service to Neo-Spartan communes,” he said in his message released on Telegram.
The minister indicated that the initiative is part of the joint work between institutions to ensure free and timely care for the population.
“The guidance is clear: no community will be left without a response. We are still deployed to accompany the people in this contingency,” he added.
He stressed that the delivery of the equipment will make it possible to expand supply mechanisms while carrying out technical actions for the standardization of service in the region.
