The governor of the
state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, delivered three new rehabilitated
works this Wednesday as part of the transformation process of Paseo de Macuto.
Terán reopened
the El Ceibo car park, which has a capacity of up to 200 vehicles and whose administrative
powers were transferred to the Guaicamacuto Commune.
Later, he delivered
the Paseo bathroom battery, which will also be managed by the commune and
which has 64 showers and 56 sanitary pieces, dressing rooms and bathrooms exclusively for people with disabilities.
The Governor
stated that these spaces guarantee all the “comfort of bathers who
come to enjoy all the beaches of this great historic resort”, which
was completely rehabilitated after three months of intervention.
“Here they will take good
care of you, they will have good quality services so that you can then go
fresh to your destination, or you stay here, in one of the many hotels and
inns that we also have here in Macuto, and you can also enjoy the nightlife, the party, the
bagpipes,” he added.
Finally, it
was transferred to the Civil Protection module that is close to the bathroom battery
to deliver it rehabilitated and equipped. Asphalt was placed there, its walls
were painted, a bathroom was built and stretchers and medicines were provided to provide primary care.
He pointed
out that this is a space for visitors to “come and enjoy with
full safety conditions”.
