The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela, this Tuesday, March 03, categorically denied a fake news broadcast by the news agency Reuters against the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez Gómez.
The aforementioned media outlet indicated, without presenting any evidence, that the United States was preparing an alleged accusation against the president in charge of Rodríguez for alleged “charges of corruption and money laundering.”
Faced with this publication, Washington's Deputy Attorney General, Todd Blanche, formally denied the news agency through his official channels. “It's completely false. I'm not sure how such false news gets to the publication,” the US official wrote on his account on the social network X.
These narratives lack real support and are part of an external media strategy designed to generate destabilization.
For this reason, Venezuela dismisses these episodes of disinformation that have the sole purpose of damaging the image of the Venezuelan authorities.
The management of the dignitary in charge remains focused on the country's peace and development agenda.
