Three months after the double earthquake, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported on advances in housing dignity, highlighting the delivery of 461 credits to condominiums that benefit 16,172 families.
He also detailed the progress in the construction of definitive housing solutions: “The plan for 3,000 transitory single-family homes in Caribbean City is being implemented with 27% of progress and a total goal of 6,000 single-family homes.” To date, the Government has succeeded in the relocation of 7,336 people and the liberation of 30 temporary camps.
The National President reiterated the authorities' commitment to families who are still in camps, assuring that care is a constant priority.
“We continue to accompany those who need a housing response, a home. 86 camps are still active where 18,055 people are served daily,” said Rodríguez, sending a message of hope to those affected: “To those who are still in a camp, rest assured that they will soon have a home.”
