Bolivarian Government deployed Integrated Vector Control Plan Aedes sp and Anopheles sp

The sector vice-president of Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, reported that the Integrated Vector Control Plan Aedes sp. and Anopheles sp. was deployed in the state of Bolívar.

“This strategic effort was concentrated in the municipalities of Angostura del Orinoco, Sifontes and Caroní, where our workers from the Ministry of People's Power for Health and the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology carried out health promotion activities together with the application of biocontrollers, developed in Agrobiotech laboratories,” Jiménez reported from his Telegram channel.

He specified that the days also included taking whole blood samples, capturing vectors and carrying out specific tests such as tests for G-6-PD deficiency.
